Painful, but completely understandable.
New results from The POLITICO Poll suggest a lasting chill has settled over the world’s former bosom buddies. Americans are rosy as ever about their northern neighbors, but Canadians don’t share the love.

Their message to America: It’s not us, it’s you.

Look how much Canadians hate the United States now
It’s not just about the trade war. Nearly half of America’s neighbors to the north now think the U.S. is a bigger threat to world peace than Russia.

Never in a million years did I ever fathom when I resurrected the Epstein story in 2018 that it would lead to first arrest of a British Royal in four centuries. Not since King Charles I was arrested in 1647.

New via WSJ: French modeling scout Jean-Luc Brunel was secretly negotiating in 2016 with lawyers representing Epstein's victims, according to DOJ files.

Brunel's lawyer told them his client recruited girls for Epstein and had incriminating photographs.

Then Brunel went dark.

Want to defend a shit administration? Well then, get ready to open your wallets, all you young aspiring lawyers!
JUST IN: Judge Provinzino in Minnesota has held a Justice Department attorney in civil contempt for violations of her order requiring the return of a released ICE detainee’s ID documents. He must pay $500 a day until the documents are returned.

There were six ICE flight evacs btwn 2014-2022. Two known evac times were WAY too slow, lucky no one died. There may have been more since 2022 and we just don’t know about them. Depressurization in Nov. injured six.

I’m sure @staceyryn.bsky.social could come up with more since she’s a pilot.

Ever wondered if you could get out of a burning plane in time? Now, imagine that you are shackled to your seat because you tried to come to America for a better life. We are never going to recover from this.

Not enough vitriol and hatred is directed at the Heritage Foundation and, really, they deserve as much as we can have. Evil people, every one of them.
The Heritage Foundation is now calling for the overturn of Plyler vs. Doe, the Supreme Court ruling that banned states from denying an education to the children of undocumented immigrants.

I have lost count of the wars we have now engaged in during this, the "Peace President's" first year in office.
Once again we are in the month of February with a slight mismatch between political signals, pundits opinions and actual military movements.

Nothing is inevitable until H-hour but the US is fast now getting into position for a major and sustained strike campaign against Iran.

The current person in charge of ICE's procurement for detention is a GEO Group executive who ran the company's immigration detention portfolio. He was granted an "ethics waiver" from DHS allowing him to hand out contracts to GEO in his new role.

Wow. Hundreds of millions of gallons of raw human waste have spilled into the Potomac River, threatening the health of the river and the safety of those who use it.

It appears to be the largest discharge of its kind in US history. The smell must be something. 🎁 www.nytimes.com/2026/02/17/c...
