This is noteworthy. It's hard as hell to win in Louisiana.
A judge ruled that groups representing residents of Louisiana’s Cancer Alley can proceed with their landmark lawsuit seeking a pause on toxic industrial plants in two majority‑Black districts

The lawsuit could force a jury to decide if turning Black communities into sacrifice zones is a legacy of slavery.

Today, California signed an MOU with Ukraine.

Even amid the chaos and anxiety in Washington, California continues to lead as a steady transatlantic partner.

We will always be a global partner for good.

12/12 History will not remember Elon Musk for his rockets or cars.

It will remember him as the man who fed the world’s most vulnerable people "into the wood chipper" just to clap for himself.

Palantir, Deloitte, and the private prison giant GEO Group took in more than $22 billion from ICE and CBP last year. Behind the spreadsheets and contracts, there's a quieter truth: someone is getting rich from cages, borders, and human pain. Profit has always been fluent in the language of cruelty.

Are we proud of this? Terrorizing, torturing and putting little kids in prison? Sex trafficking them? Is that what we are willing to put up with so that the stock market does well??? Shame on us. All of us. We will not recover in my lifetime.
Kids in Lindenwold, NJ ran from their bus stop after spotting ICE agents during an operation. A 10 year old said agents followed him as he rushed home, with counselors later brought in to support the frightened children.

All of this. Every bit.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not a harmless eccentric. He is the top public health official in the United States telling a podcast host he is “not scared of a germ” because he “used to snort cocaine off toilet seats.”

That isn’t edgy. It isn’t rebellious. It isn’t brave.

I've been sitting here with my hands on the keyboard trying to compose something and only curse words want to come.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

What do you call it when human beings murder a planet?
Trump’s EPA just tore out the endangerment finding, the legal fuse that lets the government regulate greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act. Cut that wire and the rules on carbon from cars and power plants go dark. The smokestacks win. The air, the oceans, the future take the hit.
Trump's EPA is revoking the "endangerment finding" on greenhouse gases. Here's what to know.
The Trump administration says greenhouse gases emitted from sources like cars, trucks and power plants will no longer by regulated by the federal government.
