It has been several years since I read Gulliver’s Travels by that master satirist, Jonathan Swift, but (OG) Laputa comes to mind almost weekly, whether it’s BS at work or BS in the society broadly.

We need to hammer into the Good at Math guys that they are much easier to replace with a foreigner than the Good at Words people.
Part of the issue is that Good at Words people are generally inclined to accept that people are all different ways and to think that’s just fine. Good at Math people have been allowed too much room to think that only they have the thoughts that matter.

I’ve taught this method to college-bound ESL students. Sure, it teaches some cheats which can be useful, but (Senshi hat) nothing beats experience with words and their shades of denotations and connotations. Increasingly, we are a society of people who only know the cheaty way.
