The post from the Reagan Foundation is just complete gibberish.

The ad did not, in fact, misrepresent Reagan's views. But the idea that anyone needs the Reagan Foundation's goddamn permission to use the publicly broadcast official remarks of a former president and/or edit them for brevity is crazy

A 14-word replacement for most op-eds, substacks, etc about this moment.

The GOP could stop ALL of this, right now—if a handful of Sens or Reps could step outside the cult.

It would take four in the Senate, four (maybe five) in the House, to change history.

Until then, they're all to blame.

When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee.

But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education.

A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.

Abolish ICE.

Shame their agents wherever you see them.
ICE detains mother dropping off child at elementary school—refuses to even look at her U.S. legal papers.

"What documents?" agent sarcastically replies—holding up the folder.

"The ones in your hands!" witnesses yell back.

Just over an hour after 3 Supreme Court justices warned that Alabamian Anthony Boyd would suffer psychological torture, he was subjected to the longest nitrogen gas execution in US history, gasping for air more than 225 times. Read my eyewitness account: www.treadbylee.com/p/after-just...
After justices warned of prolonged suffocation, Alabama subjected Anthony Boyd to the longest nitrogen execution in U.S. history.
Boyd was the chairman of Project Hope, a death row-led nonprofit. Its members are left reeling in the wake of their leader's suffocation execution.

the Arthur Brooks-style just-so story of out-of-touch urban elites who seethe with contempt for the heartland is a story largely by and for right-wing and center-right elites, and that it’s so accepted as truth speaks to a certain insecurity and self-loathing among the political-observer class
A lot of working class people think they work hard and are doing alright financially! They think the gov't is taking their tax money and giving it to cities. So I just don't think this is something democrats have lost. I think the people still in rural America are increasingly conservative.

Is it really possible that Karoline Leavitt didn't get *one* question today from reporters about Trump corruptly attempting to get his former personal lawyer at DOJ to hand over $230 million in taxpayer money?
Good: Jamie Raskin tells me he's formally demanding any/all internal communications between WH and DOJ on Trump's $230 million payoff.

More Dems should talk this way about Trump's criming. He's turning the presidency into a massive Bribe Delivery System.
