UPDATE: US DOJ lawyers have filed a motion asking Judge Karin J. Immergut to dissolve 2nd, broader restraining order that bars president from placing any National Guard under federal control in Oregon. Though Immergut gave state 24 hrs to respond, the feds ask that she rule w/o state's response.
LATEST: Senior 9th Circuit Judge Sidney R. Thomas has requested a vote of the active circuit judges on whether the case should be reheard.
He gave parties to the case until midnight Wednesday to file briefs on whether the ruling should be reconsidered.
