fascinated with the idea that some people think automating miserable low-wage jobs could be a bad thing
Just as you thought food delivery companies couldn't inflict any more misery on society:

Instead of using lowly-paid gig economy contractors to deliver groceries, they're replacing humans with robots, who, in turn, force humans off the pavement into road traffic.

My wokest opinion is that there shouldn’t be any private high schools or elementary schools.

Education is a matter of the common public good and everyone at the K-12 level should have an equal opportunity with the same resources to attain a common educational baseline.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

one of the weirdest things that people believe on a website where the collective mood changes every thirty-six hours is that events completely unknown to 60% of the population, where 90% have the facts wrong, will have persistent effects eighteen months later

How many times are you going to let a former Rand Paul staffer lie to you about "Dems caving" when it doesn't happen before you realize that Axios is not to be trusted?

At this point, everyone screaming at Dems look like fucking morons who still think the check from the Nigerian Prince is coming.

People don't like this shit theory
One caller on NJ 101.5 FM said he was a 25 year R voter, stood in the booth intending to vote for Citarelli, and couldn't. Because SNAP loss affected him. The shutdown got him screwed up, and he said he couldn't do it. Voted Sherrill.

I think this repeated in a lot of booths.

if you remember the New Jersey Doom Fund, we raised $1,600 for the Democrats in this district, and uh I think that could have been decisive. good job, Bluesky?
Morris County was once the rock-ribbed Republican heartland of New Jersey, most famously producing Chris Christie before turning purple in the Trump era. it just elected a Democrat to the state Assembly who ran as a progressive on the anti-machine Fulop slate
when was the last time a Democrat *from* Morris County served in Trenton? gotta be a looooong fucking time ago.
