Asshole. He doesn't speak for the people of this province.
It sure would be nice if the Premier of Alberta would call out this treasonous behaviour by one of her own party members for what it is.

I am gritting my teeth, listening to some feel-good radio piece about a ‘grandma advice stand’ in New York and Texas. I’d never really noticed how much US subjects appear on CBC, but ever since ‘elbows up’ it really stands out,. Wow, do we ever get fed a lot of US culture.

Just at local Rona hardware store, and bought a fistful of Purdy’s paintbrushes for $2 each. Normally $23-38, they proudly declare ‘made in USA’. According to sales guy, no one is buying them at anywhere near regular price. Feel bad for retailer, but market for US goods appears iffy

🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.

This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..

This isn’t really about the ostriches, but rather it's about basic biosecurity in the age of viruses, and whether a government can make and enforce laws and policy.

Report: At this point we are just trying to figure who Canadian Parliament WON'T give a standing ovation to
OTTAWA - After members of the Canadian Parliament earlier today gave a standing ovation to recently deceased far-right agitator who touted white supremacist theories, Charlie Kirk, we here at The Beaverton are stuck trying to figure out if there’s literally anyone our elected officials won’t celebrate.

I am similarly driven up the wall by the credulous coverage and framing around pipelines.

Whenever a politician says, “we are going to build a pipeline,” or a journo says, “do you support building a pipeline,” the answer has to be, “WHO IS WE?!?!?”

There is no private sector proponent. None.
The pipeline discourse may eventually drive me insane. Not because I think it should be verboten, but because of its weird disconnect with reality.
