Just heard that after 27 years on Louisiana’s death row, Chris “Jimmie” Duncan is finally getting out. Not exactly sure when, but I’m told he’ll be home for Thanksgiving.

Just heard that after 27 years on Louisiana’s death row, Chris “Jimmie” Duncan is finally getting out. Not exactly sure when, but I’m told he’ll be home for Thanksgiving.

Less egregious than RFK blaming sick people for getting sick, but it proceeds from the same mindset. The way to restore civility to air travel is to stop airlines putting travelers against each other for decent seats and bag space, not asking fewer people to wear sweatpants.

honestly, hiring erin was worth every cent and more. it's such a relief to know everything i put on paper was true (and she caught lots of the inevitable mistakes that pile up over tens of thousands of words)!
Anyway most books you read ARE NOT FACT CHECKED. Publishers will not pay for fact checkers. An author must take it upon themselves and pay out of pocket.
Which is why folks like @annaleen.bsky.social and @swordsjew.bsky.social who have hired me to fact check their books should be celebrated.
