Oh man, so many.

Let's start with "all utilities and essential transport should be publicly owned and operated solely for the public good."

Water, electric, airports, airplanes, roads, everything.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

The past two years have been the most complete and gargantuan forfeiture of intellectual capacities and future discoveries in the known history of our species.
“The prohibited activities would include joint research, co-authorship on papers, and advising a foreign graduate student or postdoctoral fellow. The language is retroactive, meaning any interactions during the previous 5 years could make a scientist ineligible for future federal funding.”

so many people are lending a hand to fascists when they police each other on "acceptable" nsfw content and get too scared to stand up for sw'ers and artists when the worst thay could happen to them is get called problematic by other puritans
There has been a noticeable reticence in left and liberal circles to voice full-throated support for pornography, even as it's become increasingly clear what the open end goals of the censorship movement are
In a lot of ways other leftists chose this path folks. They shrugged and didn’t care when Patreon banned a ton of hypnosis and TF creators, or when YouTube started their ASMR crackdown. Now it’s coming for queer porn creators, more and more. Who will stand up?

So much this. And those same people would be SCREAMING if they were the ones left behind (or even not centered)
SO many Dems and Dem strategists on here really want queer and trans folk to vote for a "better world" without a place for us in it in the name of electoral politics.

They want a better world for their kids, but can't imagine their kids could ever turn out to be faggots or tr*nnies, so it's ok.

I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

Trump-Epstein is worth covering, but it's not a Harvard President Maybe Should've Paraphrased More In a Few Sentences Years Ago-level story.
Mandatory comparison. Note, it was a choice to not include a four column wide photo of Trump looking like shit in his only press appearance yesterday when he refused to answer questions about Epstein.

It's Trans Awareness Week! So increase your weekly awareness of us by reading our stories.

(Our books also make great holiday gifts for your conservative relatives you'd like to never speak to you again!)
On that note:

Trans authors (I mean authors who are trans, NOT cis people who write about trans people), drop your book links here and I'll try to repost as many as I can throughout the day.

Cis people: Repost trans authors' book links.

Cis people who want to complain about being excluded: gtfo
Being a trans author is fucking weird right now. Hell is actively unfolding all around us but I still need to be like, "hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book? It won't make anything better, but it's kinda fun?"

So....hey, everyone, wanna buy my silly little queer book?

Federal workers are going to be RIFfed in February instead of October and in exchange Dems agreed to make hemp illegal and give Rick Scott a half a million dollars of taxpayer money. But hey, at least we’re one signature closer to the Epstein files never actually being released.
Imagine if Dems in the Senate hadn't caved. The House wouldn't be in session rn, the discharge petition wouldn't be signed, people wouldn't have SNAP, govt workers would be RIF'd & the GOP would have some decent talking points. But also online rage addicts would be happier! YMMV!

Very true. But also I can’t help but think that this would be less catastrophic to the government as a whole, and maybe would have been sat on less, if the rich old white dudes had handed off power twenty years ago.
Whats so unnerving, among many other aspects of the whole sordid Epstein miasma, is how incestuous the world of these elites are. Everyone knows everyone. The personal, social, and professional spheres all overlap.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.
