Today's big pottery project. One of those "simple but takes a long time" things. Need to get a big batch of my new clear mixed up as it's not really formulated for painting on (and the studio was almost out of their regular one, yay holidays). 🧶

Good day at the studio. Two mugs and a fancy profile vase made. Glazed my first porcelain. Also sent three test tiles of some experimental floating copper glazes I mixed to fire.

Husbeast got up early with me to go with me to my Neuro-Opthamology appt.
All good news. Optic nerves look great, no degeneration... doing slightly above average on my aging profile, nearing but not at getting OTC reading glasses.
Ten years since diagnosis and no hidden progression.

Plants moved inside today as it’s going to hit 20 tonight and be 20 with windchill tomorrow. Big project and first draft with the new house. Warm spell after the freeze when I’ll take cuttings off a few and cut down another couple pots

Now I want to make one of those boards with the little glasses, except with a fancy wood and handmade small pottery bowls for a soup flight... and a little space for bread/butter.
Hrm... maybe double walled bowls if they wouldn't be too bulky to keep it warm while tasting...
