From what I remember from 2020 during the George Floyd protests, because some idiot set a small fire somewhere, we can now claim that Minneapolis was burned to the ground by ICE supporters, right?
Someone doused Renee Good’s Minneapolis memorial and a nearby pile of wood with gasoline and started a fire at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Renee Good memorial site in south Minneapolis doused in gasoline
Damage was minimal but police are investigating.

A Patreon reward for @peruserofpieces.bsky.social. They asked me to do my take of the unicorn from the film adaptation of Peter Beagle's novel The Last Unicorn.

Rankin & Bass art style is rather different to mine, but I wanted to keep many of their design cues in my piece.

Elon posted this yesterday. Just for fun I did it with my before/after cancer PET scans that I had already posted online. In the "before" scan Grok missed the massive tumor lighting up my liver, and in both scans it flagged a non-existent "area of concern" in my chest. Other than that, works great!

The very first patient treated with a course of penicillin was in the hospital because he scratched his finger on a rose thorn while gardening and he ended up dying because they had so little penicillin that, even after filtering it out of his own urine to readminister it, the scratch killed him.
before antibiotics did people just die all the time from everything?

Only days after rushing two month old Juan Nicolas to the hospital

ICE deported him-and his entire family

This is the inhumanity which defines Donald Trump and his government

One day-hopefully soon-this administration will be gone

But the stench of its atrocities will last for generations

I was at Occupy Wall Street, in the middle of the night, when some cops were about to violently come for members of the encampment prior to the final breakup of Zuccotti.

All of a sudden, out of NOWHERE, Jesse Jackson popped up, and was like “You have no power here!”

He hadn’t been there prior.
Tonight on @espn.com's Pardon the Interruption Michael Wilbon said one morning when he was a kid he woke up to find Jesse Jackson at his breakfast table. His father, his company's top producer, had been "mysteriously laid off" from his job. Jackson organized a boycott that allowed Michael's dad to

Mr. Sim lived in the US for 43 years. He was ordered deported 20 years ago after a larceny conviction. Because Cambodia wasn’t accepting deportations, he was allowed to stay on an order of supervision.

After 20 years, he was suddenly arrested at an ICE check-in and sent to detention, where he died.
