it is just so 🥴🥴🥴 to me that governments and law enforcement bodies across the world have to be begged and pleaded with to even consider investigating what is quite literally sexual crime on an unbelievable scale, taking place openly on one of the most popular digital platforms in the world.

And, you can also change the narrative yourself, by leading the public. Public pressure absolutely moves politicians. Sitting around waiting for others to take this seriously is failing. Making something the story and making the public care about it is the job of a politician.
IMO the argument is that you can make things into big enough deals that it matters. Khanna found Massey and found survivors and made the Epstein Files the gigantic story it should be. Only then did establishment Dems come along. You can, in fact, make things into big hairy deals if you do it right.

I'm on another obscure media hunt! I have a May 2008 clip of organizer Molly McKay getting the "In Re: Marriages" decision, for the case that decided whether gays could marry in CA. Pretty sure it's from a documentary, but I don't which one. Might've been web-only. Anyone recognize this footage?

There is nothing new in here that hasn’t been covered and discussed extensively in the queer+trans press.
