This week, I withdrew from a speaking engagement at a public university because they sent me a list of prohibited “words & concepts.” I will not humor this censorship. It does a disservice to the stories I’m discussing & the audience, who deserve unfettered access to information & conversation.

One fun thing is how almost every rural municipality is ran on volunteer fire service and ems guys on SNAP. The regime will not enjoy the loyalty of local security forces once the unrest happens
They probably have some vague idea of trying to exploit this but as what often happens with their schemes it will quickly get out of hand and blow up in their faces

The ChatGPT subreddit is absolutely hilarious. LLMs just output statistically likely responses, and a statistically likely response to being asked to do some work is "I'll have that done by...". So apparently in some cases ChatGPT had just been telling users it'll get back to them later.

During junior high and even high school health classes, bisexuality was never mentioned as existing. Gay, Lesbian, Straight. That was it.
