There is an admittedly minute chance that Trump at one point tires of Putin repeatedly making a public fool of him.

It is almost as if Russia has never been remotely interested in a ceasefire and only mention it in calls with Trump because he is the most gullible person on earth.
Every phone call results in them stringing Trump along for a few weeks or months, rinse repeat.
