I fully understand what was announced to the public but I started working there 4 years after this and a) the original motto was part of orientation and delivered to us by Cox himself and b) there are still Move Fast Break Things posters on the walls as of the time I left (which was this year).
Let’s talk about “Move fast and break things.” First of all, Facebook itself changed its motto to “Move fast with stable infrastructure” in 2014. So much for breaking things, at least if you’re a soulless corporate behemoth.

the thing about this is that a) small states do not have any interests that are inherent to their size (no less than james madison understood this) b) the senate is organized along party lines which makes the small/big distinction almost irrelevant and c) the filibuster has never been used this way

Look I like Mamdani too but he literally finished with the exact same vote share as Frey here in Minneapolis. Let’s not say he is the truth, the uncontested path forward, just yet. He’s a charismatic guy who got 50% in one of the most liberal places in America with a very progressive platform.
