Found this sentence, from a BBC News article about Poundland stores, viscerally uncomfortable to read. Please do not alternate things you put in your mouth with things you absolutely should not put in your mouth.

Someone should write a post about wanting AI to do their admin and housework while they create art instead of AI creating art while they do admin and housework. has anyone thought of that? has anyone said that yet

the demand for yassification of authors, a class traditionally allowed to look like freakazoids, is an assault on me personally
I just don’t want “film a video and hope it goes viral” to be a “reasonable” expectation of authors!! I hate being on video! I am too awkward for video!

Took my little white dog for a walk in the pitch black forest – no moonlight, no street lights, just the darkest velvet of November. I took my phone out to take a pic to demonstrate how dark it was, but my front facing camera was on and I was confronted with my own face like:

Something I’m learning today, on International Men’s Day, is that I follow a lot of cis men on here compared to my old Twitter circle. Lotta fellas. Lotttta hooting, hollering and carrying on.

Listening to a playlist on shuffle, and delighted by a brief moment of synchronicity: The Beatles’ Dig It (specifically Lennon’s silly billy “That was Can You Dig It by Georgie Wood / And now we'd like to do Hark the Angels Come") flowing into SOAD’s Chop Suey 🙏🏻

I do think Bond fans are soft as fuck. The Halloween franchise couldn’t give less of a shit about the canon. Every sequel, reboot and remake since 1978 has just been like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My contribution to Bond discourse is that it absolutely does not fucking matter how you explain the fact he died in the last film, Bond films ought to be a ridiculous confection with silly jokes and stunts that make you think "whoa, cool". The camper and more action-packed the better.
