"all of which has driven mass political disillusionment and anger. The basic truth is this. Our economic system fell apart in 2008. In the absence of a credible alternative, politics is defined by instability and an emboldened far right ...."

This is going to end quite badly, I think.

We cannot ignore what we can see with our own eyes.

This was state violence.

And the blame lies with the NSW Labor government for attempting to shut down legitimate protest, and the federal Labor government who invited the head of a state committing genocide to our shores.

Tourism is the most obvious form of unsustainable growth. It runs almost fully on oil, as other transport purposes do.

There is little electrification across the entire sector.

The NSW cops are being so overtly aggressive it would almost seem like they were under orders to make sure the protest became violent.

This media conference for Isaac Herzog is a complete farce.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

I'm no political strategist but has anyone in Labour considered *not* alienating any huge chunk of their base? I just feel like they tried alienating the left and the centre left and the public sector workers and the academics, and none of those things worked great, so maybe give my idea a whirl?
