Every year the BLS does a benchmark revision which incorporates new and more detailed information. This year's revision suggests that 2025 was a far worse year than earlier estimates suggested, and total job growth was less than half that suggested by the initial estimates.

In 2004, Boston PD killed a young aspiring journalist using "less lethal" munitions while she was enjoying a street celebration.

Boston PD realized it had to change its ways.

LAPD just keeps maiming people. Costs taxpayers millions. Mayor Bass has never said one word.

This is the 38th time that the U.S. military has unlawfully killed civilians on the orders of Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump. At least 130 people β€” never charged with crimes, their identities unknown to their executioners β€” are now dead.

Public comments needed!

The admin wants to define grad programs in many "helping" fields (social work, nursing, teaching, etc) to no longer be "professional" degrees. This would mean major student loan restrictions: only $20,500/year. Tuition alone is often more.

Please comment by March 2!

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧡

Amazon dropped $75M on the Melania doc β€” with a big chunk going into the Trumps' pockets.

Since then, Amazon Web Services got a $580M Pentagon contract.

And this week, Pete Hegseth visited Blue Origin facilities as the DoD overhauls how it hands out defense contracts.

Always follow the money.

This part of our response essay is where I'm at. Boiling down all of politics to electoralism has been absolutely terrible for resisting rising authoritarianism.

USian trans people are telling you they won't vote for Gavin Newsom so you don't vote for his transphobic ass in the primaries.

They are giving you actionable information.

The same data set mentioned below shows the total number of people in immigrant detention passing the 70,000 mark for the first time on the public record.

Keep in mind that number does not include people held in untraditional facilities, like hotels and office buildings.
The average daily population at Dilley, the family detention center that held 5-year-old Liam Ramos, is up to 867, according to new federal data.

There's currently active cases of measles at Dilley and lawyers say their clients are on lockdown.
