Yeah, this is pretty much exactly what I thought about when I saw Musk's stupid racist tweet: Minnesotans have spent the last month and a half saying we will die to defend our multicultural community.
It's also part of a very direct negation of the latest stupid tweet by Musk: people have given so much, two of them their lives, to defend a multicultural city and the rights of people not exactly like them. And that multiculturalism is American culture.

Over the course of the last month or so I've reread @amalelmohtar.com's Seasons of Glass and Iron, one story or poem after each book. And I've put my thoughts on it down in electrons, this time.

I'm going to expand a bit on that last point. Since moving here, I read and heard a lot of criticism of the prime minister and his party. And I'm sympathetic, I really am.
But here's a thing about Carney: He's not a monster.
Low bar, I know. But I lived with Netanyahu as PM for SO LONG.

The nice thing about watching team Canada play hockey in these olympics is that it isn't very stressful. They're either destroying or - in one sad case - being destroyed.
