Picked up this wonderfully designed character Ka’estraxx by @cardinalgray.bsky.social , an Ukrainian artist who could really use some help. Check out what they have available! Ka’estraxx has already fired my imagination, so many fun ideas.

The reality is that 2024 was a fundamental test of the moral character of the nation and we failed spectacularly. We’re living with the consequences now. Maybe we improve. I hope so.

Livy says patricians tried to arrest or seize plebeians during the Struggle of the Orders but the plebs protected each other & fought off debt collectors & senators. This new Struggle of the Orders is upon us & we’re similarly seeing protection of neighbors. History can point to tactics for humanity

So she's doing this playthrough, the best playthrough of Silksong just like her Hollow Knight playthrough was the absolute best, and feeling like *shit* about herself.

The game feels punishing and way too hard, and then it feels like no one's watching, and then she hits Bilewater, rinse and repeat

ICE must be dismantled. No amount of money can reform an agency so fundamentally broken. If elected, I want you to know that I will work every day, in whatever way I can, to prosecute these agents for the crimes they have committed.

like, one of yeas is retiring, one was pardoned by trump, one represents a district who comes damned close to electing an actual no-shit nazi every two years, another's likely losing his seat to redistricting, these are not people upon whom you have leverage to use, unfortunately
i am all for voting every yes vote out of office but house republicans had it sewn up either way
Let me explain the math since it isn’t obvious to people who don’t work here.

The total number of R votes on the DHS bill was 214. The total number of Rs on the war powers res when it goes down will be 217. They had more members coming, even if all Dems voted against the DHS bill it would’ve passed

We can point to rights violations of US citizens & immigrants legally here as being awful, but it doesn't matter when those not legally in the US are treated as less than human. It's a bare minimum and magas can't even do that. They actually want to terrorize immigrants, regardless of legal status.

Signs about the history of slavery in the U.S. and the 9 people George Washington enslaved are being removed right now at the President’s House Site in Philadelphia, across from Independence Hall, months after the Trump administration threatend to do so.

How far we have not come in 250 years.

Mueller admitted, more or less privately, that he assumed people would read his report and based on what it said, be like, "there is a lot of smoke, but we never found the gun or the body because of ALL THE OBSTRUCTION. YOU KNOW, THE CRIMES. BAD ONES."
we give garland a lot flak, and rightfully so, but looking jack smith's opening statement, i think we're all way too kind letting robert mueller slink back into the shadows

People will have to be even more vigilant, over a wider area.

2029 dem AG may have to stand up some kind of parallel DOJ while they sort out who's a trump loyalist in the existing structure, it's going to be a mess, and they are going to need to hit the ground running. a dem house majority needs to spend 2026-2028 lining up dominos for them
