Look, I know we're all sick of hearing "if this had happened with any other president ..." but it's absolutely true and absolutely can't be forgotten.

For some reason, this nation gives this idiotic spoiled brat a free pass from things that would destroy the administration of any other person.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

Reminds me of the time I asked a judge why she had signed off on a bunch of no-knock warrants that all used identical cut-and-paste language. She told me I didn’t know what cops had told her about those cases that wasn’t in the affidavits.

Which . . . that’s worse.

(And then nothing happened.)
I’m not a lawyer but I’m pretty sure you’re not allowed to tell the jury to “vote assuming we actually have a whole bunch more secret evidence”

we're used to it now and it's sort of just become background noise but honestly not remembering when you were president should be immediately disqualifying to continue in the job
As @mcopelov.bsky.social is known to say, "Who actually was president in 2020?" continues to be the central cleavage of American politics in 20205.

We're reinventing physiognomy? Again?

This is the kind of thing that ought to make even AI boosters realize it's just wrong.

Unless they happen to have swum in the more racist pools in the internet, I guess.

You know what size is the true "fun size"? What they call family-size, king size, or shareable size. Because it's fun for me to consume far more of the delicious thing than a single person should have in a day. Gluttony is where the real fun is

OH WOW

YOU'RE TELLING ME ALL THE PROPAGANDA CALLING THE YOUNGEST ADULT GENERATION IDIOTS MAY HAVE BEEN AN ATTEMPT TO DISCREDIT THE LEAST RACIST AND MOST LEFT LEANING PORTION OF THE ADULT POPULATION

SAY IT AIN'T SO
“Gen Z has the lowest racial resentment of any generation ever studied.”

Important work from @jakemgrumbach.bsky.social that offers a clear explanation of why there is an intense push to change school curricula to make them more white supremacist

The Shocking Truth About Gen Z Voters Is That They’re Pretty Great
Stop panicking: They are the most progressive generation ever, especially on race. If that surprises you, you’ve been listening to the wrong story.

This is what genAI "guardrails" are, and why they are inherently insufficient.

genAI inherently outputs the statistically most likely sequence of words, and "guardrails" are basically just a list of words to filter from that output to the user.

And they stole literally all the words to train on.
One way of thinking about genAI is:

Suppose you steal every English word on the internet, and then look up what words are most likely to follow the word "throbbing."

And then whenever you see "throbbing" you slap on a likely word

You're gonna end up talking about throbbing dicks in weird contexts

This report is absolutely shocking.

A barbaric & dystopian system enjoys almost total impunity for killing and mistreating Palestinians in detention. No trial, nothing, just taken for being Palestinian.

OK, but then why vote? The Executive could just release them.

I can only assume he's still strenuously bullying people into voting no behind the scenes.

This piece makes it sound totally normal that the police gets to decide whether or not to "work with" Mamdani as mayor, and it continues, as nearly all the paper's coverage, to wield normative terms like "moderate" and left" in a prejudicial way. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/16/n...

It would be helpful if American schools taught kids that Hitler admired US racism and patterned many of his antisemitic laws on our anti-Black laws. Instead, we're teaching the Holocaust less altogether.

Hitler also admired American antisemites like Henry Ford. Bigots attract each other. . . .
Racism is fascism practiced on Black people first.

Hitler based the Nuremberg laws on US Jim Crow. He invaded Russia because he wanted his own California.

The US shifting from a racist country to a fascist country basically means "Start treating everyone like you've always treated Black people."
