Obviously this is impossible because Alan Moore looks like he's genetically a wizard, it's simply impossible to imagine what he would look like as a schoolboy oh there he is.
Spot Alan Moore in his 6th form Northampton Grammar School photo, taken two days before he was expelled

Just one of the stupidest things that has happened in my lifetime
I found this today (from Peter Kellner/YouGov) which answers part of your query.

Did you know that before Nixon and Reagan, health insurance companies in America were non-profit? Yep, they screamed about "socialized medicine" and gradually shifted the focus of our entire healthcare system from public welfare to... making bucks off illness.

New dice from a Kickstarter! Apparently they change color in sunlight, but I haven't had a chance to test that yet.

Firing over 100 immigration judges.

Arresting immigrants outside of their immigration hearings.

Pausing asylum decisions.

And now? Cancelling citizenship ceremonies, the final step to becoming a U.S. citizen.

Just remember that Trump never cared about "legal immigration."

Stunning admission from Trump in his Politico interview. He confesses he knows almost nothing about the drug trafficking of the guy he pardoned even though he helped bring 500 tons of cocaine into US. Trump also reveals his narcissism makes him easy to manipulate:

One of my fave niche history facts is how many loaded pistols your average highwayman had during a hold up.

We're talking four minimum on his saddle, then at least two in his belt. Ideally three or four.

Because fuck trying to reload a 17th century pistol on horseback that's why.

"How else will I know how many rocks to feed my baby?"
Jimmy Fallon: "And do you use ChatGPT when raising your baby?"

Sam Altman: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."

The fact Bovino is a career civil servant and not a political appointee really shows CBP needs to be abolished root and branch. Let the IRS do customs (seriously).

On the other hand, there is no vulnerable, personal fiction I can write more cringe than “pull up bars at the airport” so that 60 year old nepo babies can impress reporters by doing one and then calling it.
I’ve seen clips from a bunch of different GOP press junkets today, and I feel like I need to pinch myself, because the lies and delusions have soared to staggering new heights. I feel like I’ve slipped into a pocket reality where truth still matters, and out there it’s fucking Bedlam.

The target audience for this are soy bean farmers; one one else cares about Chinese soy bean imports. And soy bean farmers are exactly the people who know when they were selling abroad.
Leavitt: "President Trump convinced President Xi to continue purchasing again American soybeans, which is something China wasn't doing under the last administration because they had no respect for President Biden or the country at the time."

The day this fucking planet realises 'entrepreneur' is not a fancy way to spell genius is the day we evolve as a species.
With this there would have been no Mo Farah. No Freddie Mercury. No Lenny Henry. No George Michael. No Meera Syal. No Sadiq Khan. No Sajid Javid. No Salman Rushdie. No Hanif Kureishi.

"AI didn't make this, we did" is what you tell your boss, but not your friends.
McDonald's has released an AI-generated Christmas ad

The studio behind it says they 'hardly slept' for several weeks while writing AI prompts and refining the shots — 'AI didn't make this film. We did'

Between Christmas food being absolutely fucking packed full of raisins, and Christmas decoration being absolutely packed full of mistletoe and holly and lilies, it's like the holiday is designed to kill pets.

"I told the trees about you" - legally acceptable, foreboding, unsettling, the plants know your name and hate you

The most important political fault line of our time is over whether children are people or property.
This whole so-called “parents rights” movement the right has taken up and the left is supposed to kowtow to for votes is so obviously anti-child it really bothers me to see it presented as anything other than justification for abusive “parenting” and disregard for actual science on child development

Used to be you could bankrupt student loans the same as any other loan- they changed that rule at the exact same time they started encouraging students to take our larger and larger loans
This is debt indenture and it should be illegal.
Law school cost me $190,000.

I have paid $206,000 since graduation.

I now owe $223,000.

I pay $830 per month, and next year it will be more.

I genuinely believe law school student loans are designed to make pro bono representation impossible.

New dice time! I got two 15-piece (plus a matching big D20) sets from Role 4 Initiative, in Sunken Silver and Arctic Frost. And they threw in a handful of bonus D4s for free, too.
