He's right in this case, but I feel like this misrepresents the actual sentiment. People don't yearn for second homes, they want first homes before their 40s. They don't want "high-wage jobs" they want their mid to low range incomes to reach further or to only need one job to make rent.
Looking at these things and deciding that they’re true is just poison for your understanding of the world, but every day millions of people unlock their phones and nod along.
