I hope this is how it turns out

I also think there's a slim chance we can scare our senators enough to get new leadership ahead of the January fight
Optimistic case: the GOP still owns the terrible policy they’re pushing and most people blame them for it, the people mad at Dems are already mostly Dems and they exert their vengeance in the primaries - which should definitely affect what kind of Dem candidates get on the ballot

I agree with most of this

New leadership. Now. Get ready to fight harder in January.

Also Virginia House Democrats passed a constitutional amendment to do the same thing the week before the election then flipped 13 seats. Voters understand what's going on here.

No it’s important to listen to this. Because then you understand that many of them will do ANYTHING to keep power. Remember Musk got involved in the 2024 election after saying to Tucker “if she wins” I am definitely going to prison.

So we need to move knowing that nothing is off the table for them.
Steve Bannon: If we lose the midterms and we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison, myself included.

This omg so much this

I frequently remark that some of the hardest aspects of my job are related to dealing with male egos and the fallout when they get bruised
We say men are less emotional because we coincidentally don't define anger or reacting because of ego as emotions.

But I wonder how much money was wasted on this ridiculous prosecution?

BREAKING: Democrats just broke the GOP supermajority in the Mississippi Senate!

In a stunning victory, Democrats gained seats in court-ordered special elections and will now head to Jackson to represent and fight on behalf of their constituents.

In 2023, @runforsomething.net worked with Lily Franklin in a long-shot state house race in rural VA -- no one thought it worth trying, but Lily did, & we had her back. She came within 183 votes of winning. She got back in the fight this year & just flipped the seat red to blue!!!!!!!

I hope California did, too!

A bit wild to see lines at urban polling places with just the 1 thing on the ballot and universal and easy mail voting. Seems like folks may be a bit fired up

"That sandwich hasn't exploded at all, has it?" defense asks.

"It looks like a little bit is coming out towards the bottom," Lairmore replies.
