This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

good news is out there
Still a few days to go, but as of right now the Baltimore homicide page shows 133 homicides for the year.

It was consistently around 330/year until four years ago, when it started its steep decline. It is now well under HALF of what it was.

This is a miracle.

Sauron is appearing on the scene as concerns rise about crime among the most wealthy.

Once again, Blair finds the beauty, the mystery, the magic, and the humanity in ordinary places. The lesson? All of it is all around you all the time if you take the time to look and listen.
Last month, @outsidemag.bsky.social sent me to spend 14 hours in a suburban ice rink, learning the stories of everyone I met. Why do they skate? I asked. To feel free, they told me. To feel God. To forget, for a minute, what they've done.
What I Learned After Spending 14 Hours at a Suburban Ice Rink
A full day inside a suburban rink revealed how one place can hold ambition, grief, faith, and escape—sometimes all at once.

"we fought feminism tooth & nail & would now like women to consider whether feminism failed them" lol lmao

has feminism lost some battles? yes. are women full humans with primary rights over our own bodies, minds, money & time? yes, & that principle (ie feminism) does not fail.

cyberpunk is a warning not a manual (this is actually pretty funny though)
We have a British Parliament-themed AI bot that constantly replies to our Mississippi Free Press news stories talking about what "MPs" would think and it's kinda funny.

Who (other than ex-Gov. Phil Bryant) really thinks MPs' opinions about Mississippi news matters at all? 😂
MPs would approve: sustainability has become quite trendy.
