blessed are the font geeks, for they shall always notice
The font would appear to be English 111 Adagio CE, available for the highly presidential sum of just $39.75 USD

Note "The" is not kerned correctly

(see perspective-corrected still for reference)

Just now: The plaintiffs who were arguing that Utah GOP's congressional map is illegal won in court.

The judge orders one of the two maps submitted by the plaintiffs ('map 1') be used.

The ruling, if it stands, guarantees that Democrats will pick up a congressional seat in Utah next year.

cyberpunk is a warning, not a manual
It still feels absolutely WILD to me to type that out, but after putting all the pieces of news and analysis—the biometrics/DNA sample expansion and the sloppy mass data consolidation and the nonconsensual face-scanning by DHS—next to each other, it was impossible to come to any other conclusion.

This week's @unbreaking.org update on immigration is *also* an update on data security because the administration is using immigration enforcement as a way to trial and operationalize a full-on surveillance state.

This is a massive amount of work to track all of these attacks on medical research funding. Bravo to the @unbreaking.org team for pulling this together.

A transfer DISCOUNT on BART is wild (complimentary)!
Clipper 2.0 is going to revolutionize how we get around the Bay. Something as simple as taking the bus to the train will be rewarded, not punished.

From my house in Berkeley to my friends in the Castro could be literally half the price as today.

truly amazing things happening at the Supreme Court right now
Roberts now going at the solicitor general like a cat with a wounded mouse. Keeps telling him that tariffs are taxes on the American people. "Who pays the tariffs??" Says Trump's argument would neutralize separation of powers between the legislative and executive branches. Incredible stuff.

I've gotten this question a bunch.

Of the races I was watching on my cheat sheet, here are the GOP wins:

—Nassau County executive & DA
—mayor of Columbia, SC
—mayor of Binghamton, NY
—mayor of Manchester, NH
—prosecutor of Virginia Beach
—a special election for NH state House

note: all holds
I’m inspired to ask—did Republicans win ANYWHERE??
