For the four people in Ireland who haven't already figured out how to watch The Pitt (eg my mother), it's good to know that HBO max is going to be rolled into your Sky subscription.

We are at an airport restaurant. A robot just drove up to us with our food, said, "Hi! Here I am!" and then drove away with our food.

The thing about Casablanca being the greatest film of all time is people don't believe you and then they watch it
You ever stop and think about CASABLANCA? You ever stop and think about "Welcome back to the fight, this time, I know our side will win?" You ever think about a bar full of people defiantly singing La Marseillaise, played by a soundstage full of Jewish refugees? You ever think about CASABLANCA??????

It's refreshing to see a photo of a man in front of the pyramids talking about "unbelievable technologies" where's he not trying to convince you that aliens must have built the pyramids.

If I were a henchman/soldier/goon, I would simply not involve myself with whatever is going on at the other end of this train carriage. I don’t get paid enough to interfere with protagonists.

If I was a billionaire I wouldn’t use my wealth to create a Secret Crime Island. I would make a duel-themed restaurant called Swashbucklers where the waiters swordfight each other during your meal

You may laugh, but the Macbeths are a much better role model for a marriage than Romeo and Juliet. They discuss their problems (killing the king of Scotland), share their hobbies (killing the king of Scotland), and resolve their conflicts (by killing the king of Scotland).

Living under neoliberalism feels like being governed by a dropshipping site. The public ask for services and the guys in the middle deliver knock-offs of inferior quality from another supplier. The government themselves never actually do anything.

Sentimental Value is now streaming on MUBI. I loved this film. There are some amazing movies on there and they've an offer of €1 for 3 months. It looks like it going to rain for at least the next 37 years so it might be a good time to treat yourself.

A female sparrowhawk is hunting our birds! She came down into the garden about ten minutes ago, didn't catch anything, stood over beside the fence where our fence mouse is, then took off when we tried to get a photo (of course). I just saw her swoop again. I think she was after a collared dove.
