Genuinely I don't know why they'd do it? This just makes no political sense at all.
Only centrist Democrats would work this hard to snatch a historic defeat from the jaws of victory.

when we moved into our family home 38 years ago, we were the first people to have:
1. Central heating.
2. An indoor toilet.

I don't understand: the Republicans don't even need the Democrats for anything. They have majorities everywhere. What's the story here?

An Irishman went for a job interview on a building site. The foreman asked him "Do you know the difference between a joist and a girder?"
The Irishman replied, "Goethe wrote Faust and Joyce wrote Ulysses."

The thing about Helen Andrews that is particularly irritating is that it is only because society is not organized in the way that she wants it to be that anyone knows who she is

Saw Bugonia this evening.
Lanthimos' most tense film to date, but let down by the ending (even though the final montage is 10/10).

Suddenly when puberty blockers are given to cis kids, the Daily Mail (the same newspaper which backed Hitler btw) finally admits that "their effects are not permanent, and once a child lets their blocking treatment lapse, puberty will just continue as normal."
Which is true for trans kids too.

Because it’s cis kids.
The NHS will quite casually give cis kids whatever treatment they need, even PBs👇
No trials. No concerns about side effects. No moral panic.
