Ultimately, the problem with single issue free speech crusaders is that "free speech" isn't a single issue.
There are questions of censorship, questions of whether something is actually "speech" or "violence," and questions of whether a demand for free speech is genuine.

This is one of the reasons why I fucking hate generative AI art. It takes away the fun and charm of a bad photoshop job. I love seeing those back in the day and now its all just slop.
I'm very tolerant of bad aesthetics - I actually frequently LOVE bad art when it comes from real human beings! But when it's churned out by a fucking machine? It has zero meaning and zero value and actually degrades the reputation and message of the person throwing it at us.
