they keep emphasizing that these are on "known narcotrafficking routes" and like, those are just route-routes. there are not special ocean highways for drugs.
I'm not sure if people realize the murder strikes are taking place across a large region. It's quite staggering.

The president is using this apparent family tragedy, which as far as we know had absolutely nothing to do with him, to convey the message that if his fans brutally murder his critics, they will receive his support and approval.

Tons of people talking about what a gifted director of comedy Rob Reiner was but to me his most impressive movie is MISERY (1990). Absolutely expert handling of suspense beats - Reiner could've spent his entire career as a successful thriller director if he so chose.

The way the word elites has become devoid of all meaning is interesting. It’s a placeholder for “someone I don’t like” and it fascinates me that the people who use it most are wealthy, went to “elite” schools and hold positions of power. Look in the damn mirror. You’re talking about yourself.
