My brain is so perfect that I don't know why I got an MRI
Reporter: Governor Walz called for the release of your MRI results

Trump: They were perfect like my phone call where I got impeached.

Reporter: Can you tell us what they were looking at?

Trump: I have no idea. It was just an MRI. It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it.

It’s useful to think about things like this in numbers of tenure track professors.

$33M is 358 assistant professors. Or about fourteen percent of the total number of full-time faculty at Michigan State.
SOURCES: Michigan State is firing head coach Jonathan Smith, @theathletic.com has learned.

He went 9-15 in two seasons, including 1-8 in the Big Ten this year. (ESPN first reported).

MSU players meeting called for 2:45. Smith has a $33 million buyout (with offset).

The Trump apologist checklist after Trump or his administration does something awful:

1. Fake news, it didn’t happen.
2. It might’ve happened, but it would be OK if it happened.
3. So it happened, so what.
4. Whatabout [insert names of various presidents here]

Former army clemency & parole board member here. Boards I was on for GWOT war criminals — Mahmudiyah murders; Gibbs’s kill squad — had the common denominator of poor leadership. Leadership vacuum filled by “leaders” who viewed others as sub-human. We’re witnessing the same but at the national level.

Remember Thomas Jacob Sanford, the Iraq veteran who burned up a Mormon Church in September? Remember Nigel Edge, the Iraq veteran sniper who shot up a bar from his boat in Cape Fear, also in September?

Keep track of how differently we speak of them than Rahmanullah Lakanwal.

-ABC, which bribed the president
-CBS, which bribed the president and moved away from fact-based journalism trying to appeal to him and his fans
-WaPo, which spiked a Harris endorsement and tilts coverage in Trump’s favor

Fools.

NATO prevented wars for 80 years.
We are now closer to a war exactly because Trumpty Dumpty is deliberately sabotaging NATO and all allies.
