agree with this (hah) but also think a particular mistake the left made for a long time online, and still makes to an extent, is failing to understand that the person whose mind you may actually change is the one reading the argument you're having, not the one you're arguing with
The secret to engaging in social media debate is knowing you will never win anyone over. The best you can hope for is to have people who already agree with tell you you're awesome. You might great a dopamine thrill from the righteousness of your anger! Fine benefits, all. But you will never win.

Someone brilliant recently said, "Companies are annoyed they have to go through you to get your money."
And I think Dems are the same way.
The DNC/Dem leadership is annoyed they have to appeal to voters to get our votes. They think they're entitled to our votes simply by being "not the GOP."

I've been seeing a lot of Newsom hate going around. Frankly, good. Newsom sucks ass.
But what I'm NOT seeing much (at all?) is counter-proposals.
So... do we on the left have anybody that we'd LIKE to see run for president in 2028?

Every one of these whines about “warriors” having to endure education and interaction with civilian agencies boils down to this: When you factor in politics, strategy, philosophy, ethics, outcomes, etc. there’s no way to conclude that indulging my impulses is always right and that makes me feel bad.

Crazy concept but if you don’t want people to vote third party then don’t run a candidate that a significant number of people openly refuse to vote for.

If Gavin Newsom somehow becomes the nominee, the Democratic party has completely surrendered, to an extent that ordinary people who are fed up with Trump and billionaire rule will not take them seriously as an opposition party. The fact that I will never voter for him doesn't matter.
