Exactly this. "I'll vote for whichever candidate has a D next to their name no matter what their actual policy positions are!" sends a message to the politicians that they don't need to care about what you want at all. It's wild that people keep volunteering their unconditional support.
It's like sitting down in a negotiation and telling the person you're trying to get something out of that you're going to agree to the deal, regardless of what they put on the table. Even if that were true, it is obviously a bad idea to tell them that!

CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

This was exactly the ilia trait that won me over. At the beginning it was so easy not liking him, with his perceived arrogance and all. But it became more and more clear dude just loves figure skating so friggin bad. Throw insults at him all you want coz he’ll take everything and LEARN from them.
actually my fave thing was at lombardia when they accidentally played yuma's music for ilia, and after they'd fixed it and he skated his FS he was like "i enjoyed yuma's program so much that when i heard the music i was almost like, oh now it's my turn to do it!" 🥺
