When in doubt follow the money. Climate change wipes out home insurance business and the ability of many (most) to ever get a mortgage.
Private equity can still get rich building apartments to suck you dry.

If you fight for nothing you win nothing.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Letting the racist Heritage Foundation run the country is embarrassing and shameful.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

Every sector of the 🇺🇸 economy & polity is exactly like this. Ronald Reagan & his lazy, selfish, juvenile talking point & his acolytes’ worn copies of Atlas Shrugged have done untold damage to our politics & society.
So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

There's no better way to understand how this economy really works than to see news that over 1 million jobs have been erased this year at the same time that the stock market is at or near a record high.
