CBD works better when combined with THC! They both come from the same plant and work on the same receptors. Our first intoxicating tincture has just enough THC to help the CBD melt away stress for a happy, calming effect.

Yes, it’s legal, but only until November.

"Nevertheless, the reservation of vouchers effectively limited access to funding for other manufacturers with production-ready electric trucks, as HVIP operates on a first-come, first-served basis and funding rounds are typically oversubscribed within days."

Always frustrating.

Reposting this just in case it was missed this weekend. Jane is great! You should hire her to put words in the right order.
Hey if you or anyone you know is looking for an experienced technical writer/editor, full or part time, remote only, get in touch with my pal @jagosaurus.bsky.social who is a good egg and looking for work right now. I genuinely wish I could hire her. She’s a catch.

I wanna be clear, too, that I am a white (-ish, depends on how nazi you are) man and this applies to me, too. Every time I have thought “this isn’t political” I have been wrong. It happened enough that I just stopped saying it. If something seems apolitical, you’re missing a perspective.
I propose a total and complete ban on white men declaring that any topic “isn’t political” in public until they get better acquainted with reality.

Next up in Jeffie’s WaPo: that video Trump posted with the Obamas as monkeys was just lighthearted media criticism! Yeah! It’s basically educational, when you think about it.

Jeff’s WaPo is now in the business of trying to tell you that political things aren’t political. This might as well be subtitled “I’m so white I can’t see politics unless it’s spelled out for me.”
Analysis: Weeks before he set foot on the stage, Bad Bunny’s halftime performance had already become a media event.

But if you were looking for political commentary, the closest that you got was when he said “God bless America” in English.
Analysis | Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show was expected to provoke. Did it?
The Bad Bunny Super Bowl show nodded to injustices in Puerto Rico but mostly evoked wholesome family values that meshed with the more sentimental commercials.

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

We can build a world where being in a gambling ad is just as cringe as being in a crypto ad was a few super bowls ago.

NFT, crypto, sports betting, polymarket. It's all the same grift, and everyone associated with it deserves unending mockery at the very least.

Her: when do you think the halftime show is?
Me: I think it’s in the middle.
Her, not laughing: But when do you think the game starts?
Me: obviously at the beginning.

If anyone is selling you the opportunity to make money, *you* are how *they* make money and the 'secret' they have is convincing people like you to pay them.

There will be a lot of smoke & mirrors to make it look like you have agency, but the product is your gullibility.

Yeah this. There no profit in the slop, but there’s plenty in conning others.
To be very clear, that lady in the NYT article is not making any money with her hundreds of AI slop books.

She makes money by *convincing people* she makes money that way and getting them to pay her to teach them how to do it.

It's an evolved MLM, and the NYT is helping market it.

Doomerism is like any other addictive poison. Numbs the pain but ultimately doesn’t help and makes you feel worse the more you do it.

Dare to have hope when the fascists expect you to give up. Demand a better future because we all deserve it. Prepare to win out of spite.
every time I do a thread like this about a good election result I get a whole lot of “don’t get ahead of yourself, we still gotta make sure people are motivated for November” replies/quotes and while I understand the sentiment you know what gets people motivated?

winning! let yourself get excited!
Dems are now overperforming the 2024 lean of red districts by, uh, 30+ points in special elections

I’m not sure “apocalyptic” is sufficient to describe how the environment is starting to look for the GOP in November
