Hey, so, I don’t do civil litigation, is it generally considered good when the judge does this?

Things that make you feel stupid as hell: having to google 'how do I switch books on a Kindle Paperwhite?' been a while since I picked that thing up. The UI on the Paperwhite not as good as the phone app, weirdly.

A'ight kids, it's time for a thread giving you the lowdown on Draft2Digital.

1: They were founded by right-wing Xtians.

2: They donate masses of cash to their church and missions.

3: They view ROMANCE and EROTICA as the same thing, *and* as "dangerous".

Unfortunately they are blocking all erotica from distribution. Very sad to see a champion for indie bookstores take such a restrictive stance on fiction.

You can’t make this up…“Werewolves of London,” the 1978 hit by Warren Zevon, began as a joke in 1975 born from a dare by Phil Everly. Here’s the story: Phil suggested the title to Zevon as a song-and-dance craze idea in 1975 after watching the 1935 film Werewolf of London. Zevon, guitarist Waddy Wachtel, and LeRoy Marinell wrote it in about 15 minutes, with Zevon’s then wife, Crystal, transcribing the lyrics. The line “You better stay away from him, he’ll rip your lungs out, Jim” was an insider nod to friend, James Taylor. It took 59 takes, depleted the album budget, and at the end of tracking, they picked take number two. However, Waddy Wachtel did nail the guitar solo in one pass. Produced by Jackson Browne and Waddy Wachtel, for the album, Excitable Boy, featured on the track—a dream team: Warren Zevon on vocals and piano, Waddy Wachtel on guitar, Mick Fleetwood on drums, John McVie on bass, and Jackson Browne and J.D. Souther on background vocals. “Werewolves of London” became Zevon’s only top 40 hit, peaking at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100, and remaining in the charts for a month. Zevon later stated, “I don’t know why that became such a hit. We didn’t think it was suitable to be played on the radio.”Well, somebody did. Brought to you by, Monjon Creator Cards. Get unstuck. Find your voice. Make something great. RFK is using his position to push things that have never shown any benefit in autism & have shown serious harms, including numerous dead kids thru the years. Why push for things known to harm instead of looking for things that could actually provide benefit? Because the harmful things are profitable

The public made noise for Liam Ramos and it got him released from Dilley.

Now we must make noise for 7 year old Diana Crespo.

Her parents were taking her for emergency medical care when ICE grabbed them, and she’s rotting in the camp sick and exposed to measles.

Get them out!
