To recap, in his mind immigrants are:

Dirty, violent welfare leeches who do nothing but spread filth who are also victims of cartels who are ALSO ALSO somehow wealthy enough to buy houses despite points 1 & 2

Luis Rubiales was at his book launch for “Matar a Rubiales” when his own uncle — also named Luis Rubiales! — threw eggs at him. This sentence is all somehow completely true?

The Justice Department joined a lawsuit seeking to block California’s new congressional map.

The state's voters approved the new map via a ballot measure this month as a counterpunch to Trump-backed redistricting in Texas and other red states. https://wapo.st/4pdtl9i

I'm really not down with changing the MLS schedule, partially because as a Sounders fan that would definitely mean moving out of Seattle. Would definitely be dropping my season tix at that point. I think it would also be goodbye to the crowd sizes we've enjoyed.

Thinking today how homelessness runs through this story, through Epstein's (Virginia Guiffre had been homeless before meeting him), and even through Gaiman's (his nanny was sleeping on the beach when Palmer recruited her, and he used threats of homelessness against another victim).
The woman whom the House Ethics Committee determined Matt Gaetz paid for sex when she was 17 years old was living in a homeless shelter, working at McDonald's, and needed the money for braces www.nytimes.com/2025/11/13/u...

To the extent any of these people ever cared about pedophilia at all they imagined it as versions of the Satanic Panic/Pizzagate. Total disengagement from reality when it conflicts with whatever they saw on Law & Order: SVU last week
Predictable but still amazing to watch people who spent literally years accusing every librarian, teacher, and trans person they could find of sexually grooming children suddenly throw themselves in with "actually it's ephebophilia"
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."
