Former Frisco fire chief Mark Piland has requested a recount in the special election for Place 1 on the Frisco City Council. The election, which took place on Jan. 31, was held to fill incumbent council member John Keating’s seat after he resigned to run for mayor.

Voters in Tarrant County should expect normal procedures when it comes to where to vote. Individual voting locations can change from election to election, but Tarrant County maintains its policy that voters can cast a ballot at any voting center through the entire voting period.
