I genuinely could not decipher this text if I didn't already know what it said. And it's ugly. Why would you use this for a logo?
I’m very sorry to announce this to the rest of the country & the world, but a transitional logo has been chosen for the 2034 Salt Lake City Olympics & this is it. Why does it say Utah? We don’t know. Why is the font illegible? Yet another mystery. Did they go ugly on purpose? Again, no idea.

Okay, enough is enough. My first Mirena was wonderful birth control, a perfect fit for my uterus and my life. But this second one is not working out.
Not only is it not making my period disappear, the amount of bleeding in between periods is out of line.

this reminds me that I love telling the story of the first time I went to Confession as a kid and very gravely told Father Harrington that I had picked the whole crust off the pie my mom had baked for guests that night and ate it because I was mad at her, which made him laugh so hard he cried
When I was a kid Ma was known for her desserts. Her Thanksgiving job was several pies, fruit and meat, all with homemade crust. One year her crusts were ruined in a baking accident and she had to use frozen store bought. Did 10-year-old me announce that fact to the whole family? I sure did.

I'm as chronically online as everyone here, but today's Discourse makes me think that in addition to people forgetting that stealing is wrong, some people are a little too detached from the idea of a book.
Maybe get a paperback from the library or borrow one from a friend? Just to switch things up?

So a while back I was commissioned to do short bios of various rock stars, and they were just about universally total psychopaths, with the huge exception of Freddie Mercury. A lovely man who did good by his wife, his lovers, and his cats.
Today (24 November) marks the passing of Freddie Mercury, lead vocalist and pianist of the rock band Queen. He remains regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music.

As far as I can tell, all the R&D in the last couple years has gone to AI, which is not a selling point for me.
