Many of you need to read “The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions”.

If you ain’t got time for that, read this skeet.
we're not going to win by telling other trans people 'we're all going to be forced to detransition or die.' we're not going to win by insisting that there be 'no parties or sex until after the revolution.' we will not win by fear and shame. we win by doing that which keeps us alive

fwiw, personally, i am still masking because instead of getting sick several times per year, and missing out on a bunch of fun stuff because of how badly it fucks me up, i have been sick twice in the last six years, am in considerably less discomfort, and miss way less fun stuff. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Bring back the idea that there's stuff it's rude to ask people about and none of your business (why are you masking, why aren't you drinking, etc.)
Also, never ask someone why they're wearing a mask! Just don't! You're not entitled to people's health info!

It's that most joyous time of year when I post that one Folger's ad on my sister's Facebook wall. youtu.be/yOQk_pWmisA
Folgers Christmas Ad 2009 - Peter
The 2009 version of the classic 1980's ad. This version is called "Coming Home" and according to Folgers his name is not Peter.

Woke in a social issues context, means Black. Most people, even those quote posting this, are participating in a weird white people redefinition of the term.

Because racist/fascist people hate Black people, woke has morphed into "anything racists and fascists don't like."

That's disrespectful.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

In fact, folklore is resplendent with stories of simple heroes who defeat seemingly omnipotently powerful beings by simply convincing them to make themselves small and containable, and then simply pressing the stopper closed. Maybe we need more stories to meet this moment. And better readers.

One of my brothers famously said during a blizzard at age like 3 or 4 “keep the barn between your eyes!” When someone was headed out to water horses and now it’s what we always say to each other in storms.
Pro tip: run a rope between the lean to and the barn door so you don't get lost in the blizzard on the way to feed the animals later

Things you could do instead of arguing with that guy on the Internet:

- paint your toenails
- take a bath
- have sex
- make some art
- listen to a song you like
- take a walk
- learn something new

They have made enormous headway. The central issue is that driving isn't _really_ a rule-based process; the rules are codifications of social mores but fundamentally driving around other people is about theory of mind and social negotiation, which ML is largely hopeless at; here's a thing I wrote.
Driving is a social process
