You ask the public do they like hunting?

They say no.

Ask them if they like paedos.

They say no again.

How about tax avoiders?

No too.

What about people living off the state?

No!

And then you show them a family of lazy fox hunting paedo tax dodgers.

And they get their bunting out.

Christmas is the season of giving - and not everyone is lucky enough to have a piped gravy supply to their homes like Bearwood residents - so we've dispatched our iconic Gravy Christmas Truck on tour around locations in the West Midlands, to give the gift of gravy!

I still can't get over the combination of being so desperate for people to like you, and one of the richest men in the world, but also such a complete arsehole that you're physically unable to help people with your wealth despite that being an ultra-easy-mode way to make everyone adore you.

I'd say 'let's hang this around the neck of the Tory party forever' but then Labour has gone for 'save money by not giving everyone booster jabs because they don't do enough to reduce people not making it to work'

that's literally the argument in the NHS green book BTW

ai defenders are so disingenuous — no serious researcher ever wants streamlined interpretive data & the internet (as fallible as it is) was 100% fine for casual searchers. ai introduces nothing but contentious thievery disguised as commercialized innovation.

I hope they used the same two topless men every time. I would watch an Edwardian Road movie about these two chaps, zigzagging the country by train, methodically but reluctantly measuring out 70 feet and then exposing their nipples to be sure.

I’m calling them Hedley and Chadwick.
In the UK, houses that back on to each other have to be at least 21 metres apart because of a 1902 law. This is all about protecting a woman's modesty.

This distance was decided by two topless men backing away from each other until they couldn't see each others nipples.

It is 2005, the internet is a distributed network of servers designed so that no one outage can take down the entire network

It is 2025, the internet relies on three companies, problems with any one of which can cripple a significant proportion of the global economy
there’s a major AWS outage going on right now that’s taken down Fortnite, Alexa, Snapchat, Perplexity, Roblox, and lots more of the internet. US-EAST-1 is down and impacting a lot of services that rely on AWS www.theverge.com/news/802486/...
