impeach noem if it makes you feel better, but help us at least suspend a common police chief when one of their officers slays a black person sitting in their car/sitting in a park swing/standing on a sidewalk/etc.

solidarity with blacks is foundational for antifascism; never think theyre unrelated.

black folk can never catch a genuine ally for ourselves and yet we're always berated when we dont come running to the aid of others.

As a corpse can warm a bed
And banners still dance lively once all the soldiers died
So does duty keep the echoes
From rising above thunderous
In all the hollow spaces
Left inside

there was never enough capital in funding a functioning democracy where everyone is represented: by the time women & people of color were allowed access all the good capital was already claimed ‐ sports & black healthcare products for us colored folks & figurehead for patriarchy for white women.

Crouching Driver Missing Lobster

Lobster heist movie titles
The lobsters, which were not alive, were being transported by Rexing Companies to stores in Illinois and Minnesota, Sky News' US partner NBC reported.

The shipment was reportedly picked up in Taunton, Massachusetts, but never reached its destination.

Also history: Black solidarity with Palestine is a major reason that in October 2023 there was a street movement ready to go in the U.S. The Movement 4 Black Lives made Palestine part of their published platform, which led to all kinds of accusations of anti-semitism against the movement for years.
Palestinians stood in solidarity with Black Americans in the aftermath of Mike Brown. They also painted a mural of George Floyd in the West Bank and rallied for him.

This is very important history and part of why we’re here today.
It also really bothers me cause Palestinians have been raising the Venezuela issue and I think even protested in the aftermath of George Floyd and other police brutality in the us. Meanwhile people here are like “why bring them up?”

met with my 1st therapist this morning... went pretty good, i guess. he was upbeat and bubbly? which i normally find offensive af, but the extroverted fucker was cool enough... for now.

i left thinking "maybe i just need a good friend"... but that was before my depression set back in. 🫠

civilization is so cooked

diversity (the "too many earthlings of color" diversity, not the "too many aliens with green skin" one) killed dreams of a starfleet federation for liberal racists, so they fallen back to some frank frazetta inspired toxic medieval vikingism as their prejudicial fantasy.
Yesterday a guy on here said that if you really think about it we have no choice but to throw billions of dollars in the gestapo’s direction because not doing that could potentially be worse.

It would appear that uncritically funding the people that hate us so much that they mint coins commemorating body counts instead of listening to the people who said that the institutional rot within the police is so deeply engrained that they represent a danger to us all has mysteriously backfired.

“They called the local sheriff; they showed up and were going to arrest me. These are the same people that I’m supposed to call to coordinate security or to do support when I have a town hall.”

*that 4 yr old is too active for a 102° fever (and rising?); either no one in that writers room has a child or the director just said fuck it and let that kid wyle out instead of pivoting to him having hyperactivity disorder*

law enforcement's motto has been "to serve & protect (ourselves)" for a long ass time; decades. but it was more acceptable when the most affected communities failed the paperbag test (as w/ the outrage against somali-owned daycares)

— but liberties only work when we apply them equally to everyone.
running from law enforcement is in no way a justification for murder. period. if you ran & got away, good for you! let the detectives do their jobs and track you down. but NO ONE should fear being murdered as a consequence for disobeying authority figures being disruptive & agitative in their work.

And my Dr. Bronners phase is going to continue until Dr. Bronner stops making high quality castille soap fragranced with real essential oils in a bottle with a great conspiracy screed.
73% of Black people have had a Dr. Bronners phase at some point in their lives.

whew, im done with social media for today. folks saying "chill out & maybe things will be okay" when folks are in fear of their civil liberties being in jeopardy (if not mortal peril!) have triggered a nerve deep within my spiritual cavities.

i caint.
