i know some folks will find the "well i already knew" aspect of this annoying BUT... i'm black and for much of my adult life i expected the u.s. to end up where it is right now.
Just gonna throw this out there that no book is more prescient for the times we face. It’s not hyperbole to say that the similarities to right now are chilling. You won’t vote your way out of this with a spineless opposition party and this is going to end very badly for many, many people.

What actually happened is that your leftist friends selectively edited my tweets where I said Dems should campaign harder on Dobbs and abortion, and made me look like I was saying the opposite. They then texted and mailed this fake smear to ~10,000 of my neighbors. I'm still pretty mad about it.
