The decision of whether to run for re-election has not been easy. I truly love the job of being a United States Senator.
But in my heart, I know it’s time to pass the torch.

To my congressional Republican colleagues: The first order of business when Congress returns in the new year must be lowering Americans’ health insurance premiums. Otherwise, millions will lose their insurance or see a doubling of their premiums.
