I've told this story a million times but in high school my best friend + I went to the opening night midnight screening of SHOWGIRLS - besides us there were just 3 old men in the theater and right as the movie began the men, seated nowhere near one another, began chanting "Tits! Tits! Tits!"

As they say in the Red Carpet wrapups, "Who Wore It Better?" 😂
Also re: this movie - literally screamed when leading man Yûichi Minato took off his suit jacket and revealed a backless halter dress-shirt just like what Alexander Skarsgard wore on the Pillion red carpet. ICONIC

I will take any excuse to re-watch HAROLD AND MAUDE so that's what I'll be doing tonight. In dark days like this this movie remains pure love
RIP Bud Cort. How else would you even pay tribute to him.

Truly! Easily one of the prettiest. Kishimoto’s cinematography is gorgeous, bringing one of the more lush color palettes in the series and mixing so well with Kawakita’s newfound sensibilities of laser puppet show, light parade extravaganza.

The first image from IN A VIOLENT NATURE 2 has arrived (and if you told me this was just an image from the first one I'd believe you). This time Johnny slow-slaughters through a summer camp. I loved the first one (review www.pajiba.com/film_reviews...) but I'm not sure this gimmick will work twice!

I posted the below in December and now I'm getting emails from Netflix about the film suddenly being streaming on their platform and articles popping up about about how much Colossal rules and YOU'RE ALL WELCOME (no really thank @vigalondo.bsky.social)
We should talk more about this terrific movie
