What on Earth?
Not satisfied with just destroying their own brand goodwill, OS companies are now using AI to try to destroy the good names of the apps users install. (Scrivener taking out adds to explain how it has no AI but Apple adds some anyway.)

Sometimes you can tell a bubble purely from vibes. It's all anyone can talk about. Companies in completely unrelated fields announce it's their new focus. And the articles start to appear arguing that no, no, this time really IS different.

Moral injury is the psychological and ethical harm that occurs when someone feels they have violated, been forced to violate, or witnessed violations of their own deeply held moral code. It’s not about fear or trauma alone; it’s about guilt, shame, betrayal, or a sense of moral disorientation.
I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

Would you mind if I gave my zines a little push again? Hopefully the first batch(es) have reached owners now. Maybe a good Christmas gift for someone who likes photography 👀.

Here are four pics of the same house taken over several years. #Zine #Photography

Can we finally acknowledge the obvious, that this is about regime change?

The Navy's largest warship, 15,000 U.S. servicemembers, B-1 and B-52 bomber sorties.

All parked off the coast of Venezuela and Trump won’t rule out starting a new war. Time for Congress to step up.

Some of the people in this article have shared their recollections with me before - but on condition of anonymity. Coming forward now is an act of patriotism. Farage’s claim that it never happened is the opposite.

We all know we’ve entered the “they’re banning Christmas” season now poppy rage is over on social media.

But I didn’t expect actual newspapers would take the confected outrage by anonymous far-Right Twitter accounts and turn them into “news” stories!

But here we are in 2025🤷🏼‍♀️

Agree. It is similar to the Obama '12 election where voters just refused to believe Romney and the GOP held the positions they openly held, so they had to run against him as a out-of-touch fatcat used car salesman.
the most effective argument against Trump is that he's actually the living embodiment of everything people *despise* about politicians: he says whatever he needs to get elected and then immediately starts lining his pockets and handing out favors to other fat cats

It is 2025, the internet relies on three companies, problems with any one of which can cripple a significant proportion of the global economy
there’s a major AWS outage going on right now that’s taken down Fortnite, Alexa, Snapchat, Perplexity, Roblox, and lots more of the internet. US-EAST-1 is down and impacting a lot of services that rely on AWS www.theverge.com/news/802486/...
