Seems like there might be a lesson in here somewhere.
I have begun to think that Minnesota pushback to ICE was unique and a model because it gave people something to do. It wasn’t about just going out in streets for rallying purposes. People had a mission: videos, whistles, information and communication flow to communities. They had something to do.

Minnesota ICE-watchers did this.

By relentlessly documenting ICE/BP/DHS abuses—taking on personal risk to do so—they’ve gotten the horrors into more information streams. Got more people to pay attention, undermined Trump regime lies, and shifted the stances of some Democratic officeholders.
man the stuff i am seeing on IG from
the most normie, i don’t really talk about politics accounts suggests something different

This is fantastic.
You don’t know your role yet maybe, but we are all finding out just what we have to offer.

In Minneapolis, one man knew immediately what he could offer and said “Bring me your clothing”.

I don’t think we talk enough about how there’s a very straight line from “Buck Hill” to “Kiss Me on the Bus."

anytime AI offers to write an email for me, I simply go Boomer Mode and call the person I am emailing.
I've been a consumer of goods for a long time now. I've never had something forced on me the way AI bullshit it forced on me. I'll never use it, stop putting it in my face!
Yesterday Gmail started spontaneously summarizing my email chain, and I've never wanted to see the world burn more

Nice thing about California is it’s warm enough you can just leave a window cracked and if it happens the cheering spreading across the rooftops will wake you up
January 21, 2026 at 6:01 AM
Wake me up IMMEDIATELY, please.
Let tonight be a lesson to all of us: Make sure you have established your own, and are aware of your loved ones', advance directives.

Do you want to be awakened from your slumber when It Happens? Or do you want to find out when you awake naturally and unlock your phone? Let your loved ones know.

Today once again proved that everyday citizens protesting their government are braver than the titans who own the largest media corporations, run the biggest law firms and lead the most powerful technology companies.

In case anyone needs a script.
"I'm calling to demand the immediate dismantling of ICE for the murder of a woman in Minneapolis today and the impeachment of the President for his support of that murder" is the easiest call to my senators and representative I've ever made

The "Good Act"
Who will be the first member of Congress to introduce legislation named after Renee Good that abolishes DHS?
January 7, 2026 at 11:21 PM
Heh.
"Well, he's a dictator whose people don't actually want him in charge" is an interesting precedent for this guy to set
January 3, 2026 at 7:26 PM
Impeach, convict, and imprison. This bullshit can all be over if you want it.

Listen to your friend Dusty Evely.
I want Packers fans who want to get rid of LaFleur to take a look at these names because, buddy, this cycle looks GRIM.
Expect a wide-ranging and deliberate head coaching search for the Titans that includes, among others, Mike McCarthy, Matt Nagy, Jeff Hafley, Jesse Minter, Robert Saleh and Chris Shula.

At some point in time I actually had hope that things might not actually end up becoming quite this stupid.
December 17, 2025 at 3:08 AM
Literally why we can’t have nice things.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

Shut up and take my money.
November 12, 2025 at 6:18 PM
Yes please.
Let all these Epstein bros fall.
Every last one.
November 12, 2025 at 6:11 PM
That would be cool.
They should make a president who can speak in complete sentences, understands concepts, and wants to decrease sex crimes and lethal arbitrary violence perpetrated by the federal government
November 12, 2025 at 5:31 PM
This is good advice. As it has been, frankly, from Day One.
So on Epstein, the Democratic position should be "Trump should resign." If you are a Democratic elected, practice saying "We demand the president's resignation" in front of a mirror as many times as it takes until the dry-heaving that comes from having a phobia about actually doing politics passes.
November 12, 2025 at 3:29 PM
Matt LaFleur’s seat should be HOT hot.
Why not call timeout and get to your best play?

Also maybe don’t get absolutely destroyed upfront.
November 11, 2025 at 4:11 AM
Which is really good, especially since the ads they show in their News app are among the worst you’ll ever see.
November 10, 2025 at 6:50 PM
Seriously.
Attention Democrats in the #Senate.

Do not cave.

This is is the part of the story---when you're buying a new car and the dealer gives you a low-ball offer on your trade-in.

Shut the hell up and stare back blankly. That's the only move.

Do not obey in advance.

Do NOT blow this, #ChuckSchumer

Change “letting” to “making” and I’d be more inclined to agree.
