Somebody can have major disagreements about ICE’s actions and not be violent. The White House blurs that line and speaks of a killer aligned with a violent left movement but the evidence doesn’t show that yet. It shows someone deeply involved with no one in particular. @cnn.com

Right, it seems clear now that the initial assumption he was a radical leftist (because of the victim) and then the idea that he was a far-right groyper (because of the bullets) both washed out.

Assassins are outliers in a lot of ways, I suppose. They don’t fit easy boxes.
The idea that the alleged killer in the Kirk case was a right winger is really not borne out by the evidence submitted in the indictment yesterday and people should stop saying that.
