I've only ever worked public defense my whole 17 years of being a lawyer so I have no concept of what a lower case load actually would be like. But hearing about the stuff private attys can rely on support staff for sounds like absolute heaven. The amount of time I spend on non lawyer admin... sigh

but a lawyer - one who has held himself out as a constitutional lawyer - saying "imagine if we had to get a judicial warrant!" is embarassing.
