Lots going on but from outside it seems that at least part of the calculus was that flight disruption for middle class and up travelers matters more than life disruption for untold numbers who’ll be deprived of health care.

Looking thru the program & just realized that D'Angelo Barksdale from The Wire was in the show tonight!! So cool!
Just saw #PurpleRain as a pre-Broadway show & it was absolutely AMAZING! Part play, part concert. The actors were outstanding, the music was fire (of course, it's Prince), & the whole experience was so much fun.

Just saw #PurpleRain as a pre-Broadway show & it was absolutely AMAZING! Part play, part concert. The actors were outstanding, the music was fire (of course, it's Prince), & the whole experience was so much fun.

I'm getting nervous about the FAA flight reductions. My plans for Thanksgiving involve me flying from MSP > DFW > SLO & then SLO > PHX > MSP & all of them except SLO are on the list of affected airports. So far I've not heard anything about my trip & maybe the shutdown will be over by then but...
