On our way out of the Serengeti to get to our air strip, we were interrupted by an absolutely gigantic bull male elephant who stepped in front of the jeep to drink rain water from last night. He was really, really close & I was stunned by how beautiful he was. Nature is so incredible.

One upswing to this weird inability to sleep tonight is that I'm awake to see this cool ass thunderstorm going on right now with the crazy strobe-light lightning 🌩
