FWIW, the number of domestic homicides per year in Australia dropped from a peak of 159 in 2001-02 to a low of 62 in 2021-2022 (then 79 in 2022-23, 88 in 2023-2024). There's still work to be done, of course.

This is fucking it, by the way. Just smash it out. I'm still learning it (and I'm 49 so, y'know, don't beat yourself up or anything) but I think I finally got outta my own way in the past few months.
My only writing advice and something that I wish I’d learned years ago is that it’s easier to rewrite than write so just start typing shit and take it from there.
