The coolest thing I've ever made was a music video where I sang a filk of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" over footage from Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. All three stories have the same message: you can't make a deal with the devil, because he cheats.

Return the Black Hills to native people. Other places would also be good, don’t get me wrong, but there is so much mineral wealth in the Black Hills that deserves infinitely better stewardship and isn’t gonna get it as long as mining companies can just walk onto public land.

Just earlier today I (painlessly, somehow??) whammed my face into the doorway of the car while I was getting into it and bent my glasses so severely out of shape that I had to have my husband drive instead while I sorted them out.
